Overview
The United Nations Inter-Agency Task Force on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases (Task Force) and all its members affirm the right to health as a human right, as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Constitution of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Actions of the Task Force and its members are to support, in accordance with their respective mandates, the realization of the commitments made in the Political Declaration of the High-level Meeting of the General Assembly on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases and further elaborated in the WHO Global Action Plan for the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases 2013-2020.
